City of Angels

I consider myself extremely lucky every day when I think about these two people in this post and how they have impacted my life. Rachael who I've known since high school and Matt who I met shortly after have become my brother and sister over the years and I would not have it any other way. All three of us have laughed multiple times when we share how we've had to explain to someone new about our relationship..we text every day, we update about our lives as it's happening and we share our fears and loves as openly you would into a journal.. Matt lives in Los Angeles and Rachael currently lives in Germany (as a working opera singer, her place of living changes often! Luckily for me, I can visit and tag along to act tourist whenever I want!)

Rachael has been visiting Las Vegas for a few weeks now, but we immediately coordinated when to meet with Matt in Los Angeles.. Rachael and I drove and talked/laughed the whole way there and stayed with Matt like the time was so much less in between of last seeing each other.. it had been 2 years to be exact...

To sum up our trip in LA we roamed the city and walked into bookstores (The Last Bookstore was the top fave), ate waaaaay too much (even though eating healthy is much more accessible in California than Las Vegas!), accidentally sat on an ant hill while having a picnic, hiked this insane loooooong walk to a completely graffitied abandoned house, watched two very old but young at heart singers sing like no one was there except them and laughed the whole time.. some little bickering moments, but that's what family does!

Now, I don't mean to be a little biased, but I really think these two are some of the better looking people out there in the world, so when I'm around, they naturally become my models the entire time..and I just become the happiest person behind the camera watching for the best moments..

So, enough of my extreme pride in my siblings! Here are some damn good photos that I'm pretty proud of myself with too!

Now for some more funky stuff with my Fuji Instax Wide camera.. Felt like we were straight out of a 90's movie looking back at our old photos..
